Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do we need to make reservations?

Reservations are not necessary to enjoy an afternoon here at the winery! When you arrive, you can simply place your order at our main bar area and sit at any table of your choice. You’re always welcome to bring folding chairs or a picnic blanket, and that can actually be a great fail-safe during peak business times, such as sunny Saturday afternoons. If you want a more curated winery experience, we offer reservations for Guided Wine Tastings and Vineyard Walking Tours. These experiences must be booked at least 24 hours in advance and can be reserved under our “Book An Experience” tab.

  • Are you dog-friendly?

Yes! We welcome well-behaved furry friends that play well with others and are not aggressive or disruptive. We also ask you keep your dog on a leash for their safety, since we are an active working farm.

  • Are kids allowed?

Yes, we are family-friendly, we just ask that you please do not leave kids unattended since we are an active farm/vineyard with equipment and machinery, and we also have an open-area pond. Since the winery was designed with adults in mind, we also ask that you are aware of your kids’ activities and volume for the sake of other guests’ enjoyment who are visiting the winery for a peaceful and relaxing experience. We also ask kids and adults alike to respect our property and the things we grow here. Climbing on our landscaping features is unsafe and forbidden. Lastly, although tempting: grapes, apples, flowers, pumpkins, etc. should not be picked without the permission of a winery staff member.

  • Can we bring our own food?

You sure can! We also source various locally made snack items if you’d like to add to your picnic as well. Don’t forget to check out our seasonal Food Truck Schedule, that goes from March to the end of October.

  • Can we bring our own alcohol?

No, we do not allow alcohol from outside sources anywhere on our premises. This includes beer, other wineries’ wine, and liquor of any kind. We understand that wine isn’t always everyone’s drink of choice, but here at the winery, wine is what we’re all about! Our staff is always around to assist with recommendations for which of our wines you might enjoy most.

  • What is your smoking policy?

We are a non-smoking property not only indoors, but also on our outdoor patio and all lawn areas. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and other smoking products. And of course illegal substances, such as marijuana, are strictly prohibited.

  • Do you have tours?

We offer a Vineyard Tour & Taste that is a guided walking tour through our property from March through October. These can be reserved under our “Book An Experience” tab. During this tour, you will also have the opportunity to taste a little bit of what we create from our vineyard, too. If you’re unable to book a guided tour with us, no worries! Our property has walking paths around the farm and vineyard that we welcome you to explore and enjoy.

  • Is Live Music still on if it rains?

Yes! We have indoor areas where Live Music will take place in the event of rainy weather.

  • Do you host weddings?

We no longer offer wedding-related events here at the winery due to the way they impact our everyday business. However, we welcome celebrations such as bachelor or bachelorette groups, and would be happy to work with you to make your visit to our winery extra-special.

  • Can I purchase a gift certificate?

Yes! Just give us a call during business hours and we would be happy to put together a gift certificate for you. Our business number is (828) 765-1400.

  • Do you ship wine?

We proudly ship to 38 states! To see if your state qualifies and to purchase wine to be shipped, visit our Online Wine Shop.

  • What is your return/exchange policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases! For details about returns/exchanges visit our Returns/Exchanges Page.
