Avid followers of jazz, they joined their talents to form Red Umber over 10 years ago. Ever since, they have traveled North Carolina helping their fans lose themselves in the music. Whether playing for a crowd of 10 or 10,000 Red Umber hopes to spark a passion for music in everyone who hears them play.

A longtime student of the music of NC guitarist Tony Rice, Bobby Frith stirs Carolina bluegrass flavor into his work, which, along with his diverse experience, combine to form a unique voice
